New TSB coming

I traded my '11 Ecoboost EXACTLY because of TSB 13-3-3 problems. I was also getting tired of missing. I decided to get a 5.0. I am quite happy and even getting slightly better economy. Had 2k miles till out of 36000 mile warranty, and figured I better move on. First Ford vehicle I've ever had issues with. A shme, the EB has got such potential. I am sure Ford will cure the problem, I just don't want to be thier beta tester...

Mini's also had the same condensation problem and there fix was some type of add on to the intake tube. My buddy who is the Parts Manager at Mini of St. Louis told me it looks like something the you could build with parts from a hardware store. I have not seen what the did, but you could take a look at one and see if it is something that might work.

I just want out of this ecoboost and a Dohc v8 in my driveway. A buddy of mines wife works in the buy back dept for Ford and she told me to continue to document and complain and it could be bought back. I am taking the route that I didn't buy *this* truck, rather the previous tire spinning v6.
6.2 platinum sounds good to me. Just mad I'm losing my linex if they will buy it back or give me a good trade- they better I put 20k down and could have bought just about any truck I wanted- except diesels (too pricy ). Tomorrow I will head to the dealer where my saleswoman is now the general manager. Wish me luck

I too tried that. Even had a good friend that was a lawyer try to help. After the TSB 13-3-3, the dealership could never find a problem, so Ford declared it "fixed". The EB are still in high demand, so I traded mine and got a sweet deal.
Very happy with my 5.0. Yes the EB has more power down low, but so what; my 5.0 is not plagued with problems the "some" of the EB have. Look at all the EB threads where there is a problem ........
Good luck to all of you trying to move out of you EB
