So IMO Livernois $599 holds 4 tunes plus Stock tune and do not have to pay for any extra tunes they have performance and towing just have to email Them and they will email them to you for free. I have seen zero to less problems and read zero to less problem with Livernois than SCT. I have put 7,000 miles on mine zero problems. And they are the first to tune ecoboost motors.. And that is what I have and enjoy it. It puts a smile on my face when I get in the pedal and impressive to light up the 22" tires. Perfect power band perfect shifting. Ford should have made them this way out of the gate. And I want ppl to enjoy it as much as I have. And some will say that with SCT you can try out different tunes from other yes but if you like wht u have with no problems why change.

SCT can now hold 10 tunes. I chose 5* and SCT because I was once pigeon holed into a Spartan Diesel tuner that no one else supported. It quickly became a boat anchor when the 6.4L came out and Spartan all but dropped support for the 6.0. Not that Livernois is going anywhere but I now prefer options.

So I just installed the Livernois 91 performance tune with the Airraid CAI and the truck has started shuddering in the higher RPM's. The first time was at 60mph I gave it full throttle, the truck shifted down and pulled for about a half a second or so and then started to shudder. I let off the gas and then lightly pressed on it again and it still shuddered. So I let off and let it coast for a few seconds and just babied it home, with no more shuddering. I let it run in the driveway for a few minutes and took it out again. Again around 60-70mph I accelerated and it started shuddering and this time threw a check engine light. What's going on? I looked at the "shuddering" thread but it's 265 pages long and I don't wanna have to read all of that just to get an idea of whats going on.
I re-gapped my OEM spark plugs a few weeks ago to .032". So spark plug gap should be alright.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

It never did it before the tune and CAI was installed. I am going to flash it back to stock and see if it still does it. At least that will narrow it down to see if either the tune or the CAI is the culprit.

Sounds to me like its blowing out the spark. Or it's seeing knock at yanking timing ?

So I cleared the codes (PO300, PO304, PO305, missfire codes) put the ECU back to stock and took it back out. It's still hesitating and had a shudder after getting on it and then slowing back down to about 20mph for a few seconds. But it didn't throw anymore CEL codes. Left it in stock mode. Gonna give Livernois a call in the morning. I don't want to believe that it was their tune, but I never had this issue before flashing the ECU with livernois tune.
