The performance tune. Tow does stock rated.

we have a tow challenge in a few weeks and someone know if I can try it with my 91 octane performance tune? The load to tow is 6000lbs.

No, you use a tow tune when you tow and a performance tune when you want street performance. Honestly I haver the tow tune in mine for driving all the time and it is still more than enough power, I did not notice a difference in the two by seat of my pants...

Hopefully this weekend hook up to our dump trailer and pull to see how this does.

Performance wise between the 87 perf. and tow tune, seat of the pants so far no real difference. I have not pushed it or drag raced or data logged some 0-60 etc. Just saying you still gaining a ton over stock

We don't recommend towing anything with the performance tune. We can do a tow tune for higher octane fuel, but most people prefer to run lower octane when towing.

You can email me or send a pm to get a tow specific file.

Thank you,

Rick

Actually the manual suggests using premium for hot weather or towing. But the 87 tow tune makes a great daily driver with the option of using whatever octane I want down to 87. I tow with 91 or 93.
