If anyone is curious go back to Al's posts to around April 23. I am laughing still that he tried to pull this because I am reading how all of this was answered for him back then. Come on Al you are better than that.

Sluggo, I will tell the forum member to PM you to ask you the questions I had about the Livernois. I was going to answer them, but since I am unsure then you can. I was not starting a riot. Just trying to get answers to give him a better informed and assured answer to some of his questions about the 5 star and Livernois.

SCT has been at the top of the engine section because it's new and they still have lots of poblems with getting them to work on people's trucks. People keep posting about updates and issues and calling SCT to make stuff work and sending some units back because they didn't work.

In the mean time Rick sent me a tuner that works, the tune for my truck more than works, and it puts a smile on my face every time I press the go pedal. That is the reason I decided to go with Rick becuase I want to be driving my truck not messing with a tuner.

Yep, and I was one of those that this happened to and I blasted them on this forum demanding that they fix it "now" when I got it back from being loaded in which Mike did the following morning on a Saturday. I expected more and let them know it regardless of how much I liked the tune itself even if it was an SCT issue and not 5 Stars. I had to run the SCT 93 canned tune that whole week while tuner was sent to get loaded which luckily I didn't have to tow anything. I would been farked. I ain't gonna lie, I was pissed, but it's fixed now. Glad to see you guys still have no issues.

Quick question. Getting ready to try 93 tune from 87 tune. I ran down my 36 gallon tank as far as I wanted to not risk it with the gauge. Put in 32 gallons of 93 octane. Is it ok to run the 93 tune even though there is 4 gallons of 87 mixed in with the 32 gallons of 93. Or should I wait to burn through this tank to make the switch?

Sluggo, that's a 92.3 oct average. I would assume you'd be fine.

I figured as much just wanted to make sure. Takes me like 3 weeks to go through a full tank so I was hoping I wouldn't have to wait again. Thanks.
