You think it's safe to leave the perf tune or switch it to the tow tune??

The problem with a U Haul is not overweight is aerodynamics. I have an enclosed trailer and it's like towing a weight of 5000 lbs ...

I absolutely would not pull while running the perf tune. My instructions from Livernois say to not tow while running a perf tune under any circumstances.

Ok thanks Dave. I will switch it over, also will see how mpg will be towing and driving that far. First road trip!

Has anyone that is running the 93 v10 tune ran across this yet. Yesterday driving home I noticed that my "service engine soon" light came on. Hooked up my tuner to check the DTCs and found that I have 9 codes, 3 of the codes deal with the camshafts, another 4 are for O2 sensors, and the other two have something to do with my turbos. I'm currently putting the tune back to stock seeing if that helps.

Dang! Is this a '13? Where you running v2 before and just got these codes after upgrading to v10? Did you feel any symptoms while driving?

My truck is an '11. I drove the truck to work with no issues. Went to take lunch and started the truck up and notice the "service engine soo" light. I drove it home and didn't notice anything different, i.e rough idles, engine hesitations, nothing noticeable. I was running the 93v2 tune prior to the 93v10 update. I drive approximately 500+ miles a week, so having the service engine soon light come has made me a little nervous.

I absolutely agree on being nervous. I also drive 500+ miles a week (to/from work) and nonetheless I would be sick worried as well.

At least you should be able to load the v2 and check if the codes clear.

I returned the truck back to stock and it seemed to remedy the issues, although when I started the truck up after returning it to the stock tune, the truck started kind of rough and had a rough idle for about a minute then it smoothed out. I let the truck idle for about 5 minutes and it idled just fine. So, I'm wondering if there might be a glitch in the tune, because I ran the tune for about two weeks without any issues until yesterday.

Hello, new to the forum and was wondering if anyone has the tune on a truck at altitude? I'm in Denver and we are missing some oxygen here. 91 is the only fuel available here, although I do own a gas station and we carry 100 octane no lead as we are close to Bandimere speedway. Is the 93 tune that much better than the 91 tune as for me to mix some 100 with 91 to get there? Any info would be appreciated.
