I gave up after they couldn't fix the shifting. It would be one thing if it was heavy throttle shifting or somewhere I wouldn't notice it as much, but it was unbelieveably annoying driving around town.

Hey guys I have a question. My tune keeps throwing a cat code and I can't take it to a dealer to have it fixed because to switch it back to stock it makes you clear it??? How am I ever gonna get it fixed

Question... If tire size is not correctly accounted for, would that have an effect on shifts?

. My truck is 5 low and it drives me nuts! It says 55 on speedo but gps says 50. Why if the tire is put at my siZe?

good question. Some say the needle speedo on truck is not always accurate. They claim there is usually a 1-3mph difference using traditional needle and say that's how all cars come from factory. That's why I entered the engineering mode and used the digital speedo. Tweaking tire size now in tuner to get as close as possible even if it's not exact size tires on the truck. Most claim good tuners you can adjust the revs per mile to get most accurate. Can't do that with Livernois. Just because a tire specs equal a 33" tire it may be a little more or less depending on a few factors

Put it back to stock and drive it for about 2 weeks to establish a driving history since the latest flash. The truck will throw the code again - then take her to the dealer for repairs.

i don't think a repair is needed. Many of us have had dtc's "detected" when switching from tune to tune. Simply clear the DTC using the tuner and good to go. Lately mine hasn't thrown the code since. Assuming same DTC some of us were getting. What code was it?
