New Official Livernois Ecoboost Thread

This is kinda a weird question but I don't know much about these trucks and wanted to just throw this out there.
I've got a 2011 F-150 ecoboost, bought it new and never had any problems with it. Changed the oil every 5k. However, I've read some bad things especially on the 2011's like water build up in the intercooler, etc. I live in North Texas where in the summer it's 105 and the winter it can snow. Knowing it gets hot and humid for many parts of the year in my area I would assume I would have a ton of this condensation build up in my intercooler but if I do I've never been aware. The truck has never thrown any codes or service request on the screen. Only oil change reminders and that's it. It's completely stock and have ran 93 octane in it since I got it new. Maybe I've just had good luck?
Also, I've got 50k on it now and have decided to add a tune, intake and exhaust. After doing some research online I've decided the tuner I want is the Livernois tuner with the 170 degree thermostat. I've decided on the 4" Heart Throb exhaust and either the Airaid intake or K&N, still deciding on that. I never tow anything and if I ever did it wouldn't be but once and probably not much weight. Question is with these mods and a 93 performance tune and I let it be my daily driver for the next 100k would it last that long? Would I expect to lose any life expectancy out of the engine or transmission? Or could I just leave it with the intake, exhaust and 93 performance Livernois tune and expect over 150k like I would a stock truck? Also, would this setup/tune be okay for a long road trip?

Had your truck since '11 and just decided to post? I joined up right when I got mine. Anyway, there's no way to tell if your truck will last 150k. Just mod it and have fun. The modifications aren't going to kill the truck, more than likely a factory defect.

I've been lurking on the forums since '11 but have always wanted to keep it stock. I usually get tired of a vehicle and get something new/different every couple of months. Rarely do I keep something for over a year. When I bought my truck I challenged myself that I wouldn't sell or trade it in. That I would keep it stock and drive it until it wont go anymore. I've been chomping at the bit to mod it but kept my faithfulness to my challenge until now. I lasted 3 years and 50k and now I've pretty much made my mind up on mods so naturally I jumped on the forums I've been lurking to get some last minute advice before I start modding.

Also, as far the condensation issue goes, if you aren't having any trouble, consider yourself lucky, and don't be concerned with it! I've read that a lot of people don't have any issue with condensation! Have fun with the mods!

Ha ya I'm sure I will... But with the snow and ice up here in Canada, I will be waiting until spring!

I too love my Lms tune - however I wish the V10 tune shifted as smooth / firm as the V2. That is my only complaint is how hard it slams into gear 3,4,5,6 under WOT.
