thanks, I was feeling lonely!!!! I asked Anthony and Rick in the past and they said it is normal. I had a custom tune done with softer shift and 2-3 was perfect but 1-2 was awkward. I went back to the regular V10 and release 1/3 throttle just before the shift and it works well.

Bad Miss in WOT since Tuner Installed
I bought my tuner back in June (I think) and I have had a bad miss ever since. It usually only happens when WOT but it is enough to rattle your teeth until you completely stop and start again. I was told to regap the plugs, did, and got the same reaction. They advised to completely replace the plugs, gap to .030. Just got the NKG plugs in and will replace hopefully Monday. A good friend turned me on to this company as he got unbelievable gains in power and MPG but I have not been so lucky. Maybe the new plugs will make the difference.

Personally I like a hard "violent" shift at wot. Want that thing to change gears now, reminds me of my old C6 trans with a shift kit in the valve body. I'm sure Livernois can make a shift that you will like.

same thing happened to me, change your plugs, gap them accordingly, and all of your problems will go away

It's all part of detailed plan to release xv1 after every track in the country is closed for the winter lol. Anyway, we all know it will be strong and safe when it rolls out. We're ready!!!

It was supposed to be released in first part of October. First to the cars then the Explorer Sport and finally the trucks.
I waited from August to early November and moved on. Some people near and dear to Dearborn got to try it out at the LMS Appreciation day at their track at Milan.
I just wanted to try it at Heartland Park at the end of October before it shut down for winter but it didn't happen.
Wish ya the best!

Well, it appears that I received sound advice. Gapped the new plugs and installed Monday; gained a 1 - 2 mpg increase (if I can keep my foot out of it) and no misses yet. It has definately brought my truck out of hibernation. Thanks for the input.
