How can you verify to us customers it is safe can you. Talk is cheap.
As for being safe, all I have to point out is our track record. While I can appreciate that no 2 trucks are 100% identical, we aren't the type of company that is concerned with the last 5hp a truck can make, or the last .1 a truck can run. We set up a tune that we had confidence in that just happened to seem to dominate at the drag strip.

While we want our customer's trucks to run good, we aren't out there to set records with these, except when it comes to customer satisfaction. Are we happy that our trucks still seem to have some of the best 1/4 mile times out there? Absolutely. Are we more happy that our product continually evolves and has been out on the market for over a year and a half has such a good track record that it's safety and reliability speaks for itself? Yes. This is what matters to us along with customer satisfaction. Trust me, with how many tunes we do for these, you would see 5-10 posts a day about failed engines on these trucks that we tuned if it weren't safe.

Also, a question I have is what do you do when you do tune for that last 1%? what if you get bad fuel? a bad sensor? completely different weather than what it was tuned for to begin with? You already tuned away your margin of safety, so now what?

While some of you may think this is a targeted reply, I promise you, it isn't. I have personally been burned by this type of tuning before I worked for Livernois. The funny thing is, I to believed a tuner when he told me that he was better, could make more power, and was cheaper. Unfortunately it took me paying to repair my car to realized the guy was a great salesman, but couldn't get my car to run right, and ended up melting some plugs and taking out a head gasket. After this I had Livernois retune it and magically the car ran how it was supposed to. That was a long time ago, but I can assure you, the aftermarket world hasn't changed a bit. We build engines for customers all around the world that have had failures from tunes, yet only ever seem to sell our customers engines as part of the mod process, not to repair the car after failed mods.

It amazes me how people expect the maximum performance of a live dyno tune session via a mail order tune...

I'm used to a $300 LS1 dyno tune session. Takes about 3 hours total. WOT is the easiest and takes maybe 30 minutes. All that and you got one tune, the tune that was in the car. Not 5 tunes...and the dyno tuner certainly didn't give you out updates for free...

Livernois is going above and beyond IMO.

Actually yes, more badass mostly due to the fact im not running almost 23psi on stock turbos anymore. You should get on the other 3 forums I'm on too so we can keep the jabs going.

So your new livernois tune put down good numbers without the 23psi of a Socal tune? I'm sure boosted has the hottest of the hot Socal tune to compare with the LMS. Im guessing everyone with both will log the LMS to death to find something wrong/right with it.

Yea, of course they will. And then they will just find something else to whine about, and then another bash fest starts.

Im ready for the 93x. I got the email back from LMS to be patient for the strategies. I have been driving the reg Socal 93 performance and it is a really nice daily drive tune. The others felt really harsh to me.
