I agree, the bragging is pretty dramatic. Usually the one on top brags. Now LMS is stepping up and letting the customers decide. Those of us with both tuners will be able to pick apart the tunes, which will benefit everyone.

So now Livernois is actively recreating tunes. That's good to know. Someone steps up their game, you guys get put on your ear, so you'll just recreate, copy, another mans work, to keep the minions happy.

Good thing you got all that experience, took a three week tuner to put you on your ***. No problem. Copy it.
Our customer's tunes, but thanks. We don't need to look at someone else's tunes. Again, OUR tunes, we can duplicate those changes at will. Also, why are you addressing Dan? My name is Andy. Also, it's interesting you talk about looking at tunes. Routinely, other tuners ask our customers for info on our tunes, example, data logging from our tunes. We have NEVER asked for data from anyone else's tunes, and we are the one's copying? Some of you may have even done this for tuners we know...

What are you talking about a 3 week tuner? I am not even sure what this means.

I will say that SoCals 93 lvl 5 is going to be hard to beat much less the 93 Hot.
Again, we have done things like this for customers, but it was only every once in awhile. Now people are asking us if we can do it. Our answer? Absolutely, since we already have. We are on version 10, and along the way there have been many iterations such as 2a, 2b, 2c, etc. It's not like it's been forever since we did anything. Version 10 was just final released, and was in beta testing for a few months. It's interesting that all of a sudden there were new tunes that had there development started shortly after our v10 reached the hands of testers.

Did you ever stop to think maybe they didn't want to release such an extreme product and then have people shouting murder (even though its a use at your own risk item?)

You (the customer) the customer has spoken and they deliver what you wanted. You can't ask for much better service than that.
This post right here is spot on. It's easy to talk about doing stuff with these trucks now that so many companies offer commercially available software that someone has to just pay a company to buy. Where was everyone 2 years ago when this all was figured out from nothing? Do you think suddenly our ability to innovate was gone? Just look at all of the stuff we tune that no one else does. Our tuning of the 2.0 Fusion ecoboost is a prime example, yet again, of us developing tunes from nothing while the rest of the industry decides if it's worth the effort.

I can't believe how much drama there is. Damn. Bunch of women on here (no offense to the women on the forum)!
We work directly off of customer feedback. Look just a few weeks ago, nothing but praise and thanks on our tunes. Occasionally we had a customer contact us looking for a change, tweak, or even an issue (we are human after all) and we did our best to address them, but not a soul asking for a completely different style of tune until recently. Again, the type of changes that people are asking for have been done by us before. This isn't anything new, people just had to ask us for it.

Pretty sure you took that recreating part out of context. I read it as, you say you want xyz, we will test and tune it on our truck to make sure its right, then send it out. They have one of THE best tuners in the country, pretty sure he doesnt need to copy anyone's work.

This is exactly what was meant. Trust me, we aren't the battling type of company. If you take something we post as combative, maybe it was poor wording, or maybe there was a misinterpretation, but trust me, we don't make posts to directly cut other people down. I know that may be old fashioned, but we only make posts to direct comments made to or about us. Someone has a problem with our product? We post to them. Someone likes our product? We post to them.

Classless period... lms build some of the baddest motors and cars in the US they dont have to prove anything to anyone. The rep is already there. The fact is they have customers jumping ship like the Titanic. . Theres a reason a better product came out.

To go over there was un needed. When rick was around I always had tons of respect for him. In this case he would have handled this much better.

So, just to clarify, openly bashing is completely acceptable as long as it's in our own thread? Addressing a specific customer's post about his experience with out product is not acceptable because he didn't post it in our thread?

Let me put it this way, if you came into a thread about our downpipes, openly bashed another competitor's product, and that company came in to defend themselves in 1 post we would not be whining to no end. Not like we would be worried that a competitor set the record straight. We would respect them for addressing the concern without comparing themselves to anyone, and bowing out.

Nothing gets missed when you have 6 people who are dedicated to monitoring web forums. If people view 1 post trying to educate a customer compared to hundreds of posts bashing us then so be it. I was raised to do what is right, not what is popular.

I find it odd he didn't comment earlier when every post has "LMS" in the title. The cheer leading and put downs of another site sponsor is what is classless. Put your comments on their own and put the lame *** sheriff, ship analogies, and LMS put downs to rest and you probably would see more professionality on both sides.
