New Official Livernois Ecoboost Thread

Just got off the phone with Dan from Livernois and he assured me that he is working on the power loss issue. They have a truck in shop and he will keep on tweaking it until its right! We will all get the updated 93v9 when it's been perfected! He claims it is overall safer and better up top. So, lets just try to be patient. Rick was a great middle man and unfortunately there is no replacement. But things get done anyways.... Eventually.

After emailing all day with Dan from livernois he did find out to be a power loss with the new 93v9 it seems like its producing more boost but less power. He is working on the little glitches and will soon run their shop truck at the track for better tuning. For now I got my old 93v2 back and will be testing both tunes at the track this Wednesday.

I still dont get how it goes from 93v
2 to 93v9 ? And im wondering is the v9 makin less power because livernois used a 2013 to tune? as i heard they have bigger turbos and the 2011 and 2012 have smaller turbos. So would that cause a 11 or 12 to be less powerful but was said the tune has more boost? Just thinking out loud here haha

F150 Forum
Hey folks, we here at Livernois Motorsports and Engineering would like to take a few moments to thank all of you for your business, and to apologize for our lack of time spent on the forum lately. Currently we are transitioning from a single person Rick, who took care of these forums to a team of 5 people (one of which is me, Chris) who will be able to better cover these forums, the distribution of tunes, and help with any questions, needs, or concerns you may have. We have had a sharp increase in the amount of tunes, emails, and message boards to take care of so it would have been far too much for any one person to stay on top of effectively. We greatly appreciate your patience and we again apologize for any delay we may have had in responding to posts.
To touch on some of the concerns with the tunes, Dan, our calibrator (who, just if you were not aware, was always who was doing the tuning, and always will be) is constantly tweaking and playing with the tunes to make them as efficient, reliable, safe, and powerful as possible. I know there has been some confusion on the "version" subject as well. We used to refer to our tunes by their "public" release versions, the problem here is they did not directly correlate to their actual revision version, He is actually on the dyno with an ecoboost truck as this is being typed as we are continually improving our offerings, and we even have a 2013 on order to continue our development process. The newest does make more hp and tq, but we had not had the chance to track verify these results, and
based off of feedback, we are continuing our improvement process so we continue to offer unparalleled value and performance on these trucks.
One thing I can suggest to everyone is if you have a tune update you are looking for, or a specific item/question we can help you with, please send your request to info@livernoismotorsports.com. We will be monitoring, and actively participating in discussions on the forum as well, but appreciate your understanding in this time of transition. Another news Item I have for the forum (which we will make a new thread for as well) is we are working on offering our tunes for the 5.0/6.2 crowd as well. So stay tuned to see our results on "the competition" You are a great group of customers, and we appreciate everything you have done for us, and promise the same level of dedication we have always had for the tuning/product offering for these trucks.

How the hell do you guys keep from spinning the tires?! LOL I have the 93v2 ('12) in my EB and it flat out rips. It spins the tires all the way through second gear and I have 33" tires w/ 20" XD wheels. It spins just as much with the diff lock on as well....oh, and mine is a 2wd. Hell, it'll break the tires loose at 30mph if I stomp it. I love my tune!!

Well just a little update for the ones wondering about the 93v9, I ran with it last week and hit a 14.3 today I installed my old 93v2 and ran 13.8 so im just glad I'm back at 13's.
I'm glad Dan at livernois understood and actually believed me when I told him the new tune felt slower and thus made him revise it to make it better for all of us. Someone had to be the ginea pig Jaja, I'm sure the new revised one will be a lot better.
