Hello everyone! New to the forum and I'm a very excited 2013 4x4 Platinum owner. I've been following this thread and decided to purchase the Livernois tuner. Rick was very responsive and made my purchase decision a lot easier. I do have a couple of questions concerning the tuner prior to loading my first tune. I only have 1,000 miles on my truck. Is it too early to load a 91 performance tune? If I load 1,500 lbs of feed in the bed to take out to the ranch, should I load a tow tune, or will the performance tune be okay?
I've also been reading different threads concerning cold air intakes and cat back exhausts. If I decided at some point to swap an OEM part for a performance part, will Livernois need to modify my tuner to handle the new components? Will they modify it and email or do I need to purchase another tuner?

Is the CAI and exhaust going to make such a torque/power difference that it would justify the purchase.

Power increase for intake and exhaust doesn't really justify cost. Those mods are more for noise production. More turbo noise or an attempt to make the Ecoboost sound a little better. As far as hauling 1500 in feed, Rick doesn't recommend any towing/hauling with the performance tunes. Just spend 7 min and load a tow tune.

Or just load a tow tune and leave it. There are plenty of guys running this tuner that prefer the tow version to the performance version.

I just installed the 87 performance Livernois tune on my '13 platinum ecoboost. Love it! Can't wait to try the other tunes. Much nicer to drive now compared to stock.
Quick question.... I want to change from the 87 perf. Tune to the 91 perf. Tune. Do I need to go back to stock first?

No you don't need to go back to stock. Just need 3/4 tank of 91 octane fuel.

I loaded the 91 performance tune. Installed a set of 275/65R20 Hankook Dynapro ATM's. And installed the Rough Country leveling kit with the rear option. I feel like I have the perfect ranch truck with luxury and performance of a European sport sedan. Awesome truck and awesome aftermarket support!
