Yes, 4WD is an absolute must for slick conditions. I almost put mine in the trees when I barely touched the pedal while in slush. The rear-end just snapped out and sent me 45 degrees across the road. If there is any doubt on conditions, switch to 4WD. As for below zero, no difference, just fine and a couple less MPG.
Honestly, it gives you a lot of power, but still very streetable in the winter. Running 91v2 right now in mine and it drives just fine on the ice and snow. Although the weekest design is the Ford traction control, biggest joke on these trucks.

These trucks should NOT have been built without the Livernois tuner !!!!!!!!!! Just plain awesome !!!! I bought my truck from a dealer with an excellent service manager and a great service department ( yes, I know these are hard to find). I'm sure my service manager will work with me should something happen but, really what are the odds of that ??????
I have heard of a few 2013 F150's that get that code stock and tuned... not sure why though.

I read this and laughed but then I noticed you live in Vermont... you don't have as much time in the conditions as others here.. you must turn your traction control off too because even a little tire slippage and it locks you up.
Honestly, it gives you a lot of power, but still very street-able in the winter. Running 91v2 right now in mine and it drives just fine on the ice and snow. Although the weakest design is the Ford traction control, biggest joke on these trucks.

Well been lurking for a while, Decided to pull the trigger today. Ordered the LMS tuner and cant wait to get it installed see how she runs. Rick@Livernois customer service on the thread is top notch. Hope to be another happy customer to add to the list.
