I read this and laughed but then I noticed you live in Vermont... you don't have as much time in the conditions as others here.. you must turn your traction control off too because even a little tire slippage and it locks you up.

Honestly, it gives you a lot of power, but still very streetable in the winter. Running 91v2 right now in mine and it drives just fine on the ice and snow. Although the weekest design is the Ford traction control, biggest joke on these trucks.

I have heard of a few 2013 F150's that get that code stock and tuned... not sure why though.

I have been driving pickups in the snow for 13 years and have not had such split second loss of control until this F150, so you may be right about the traction control. I'll need to experiment if I can find an appropriate place. I've played with it in parking lots no problem, but all this low-end torque really breaks the rear loose quickly.

that is the correct code description <exhaust temp too cold >does not do it with the factory tune, just a tuner download, regardless of octane tune selected... didn't matter if the engine was cold, or really warmed up, bingo, it sets...
would really like to solve that issue, tuners are EXPENSIVE

Well been lurking for a while, Decided to pull the trigger today. Ordered the LMS tuner and cant wait to get it installed see how she runs. Rick@Livernois customer service on the thread is top notch. Hope to be another happy customer to add to the list.
