I gave my salesman a hard time... Tow hooks are standard huh. Why? Ford trying to say that they know your truck will break down and anyone that owns a Ford is going to need them? He said Nope - thats to pull the Chevs outtada ditch.

Drove my 2007 Silverado to 180,000 miles with zero issues. Only replaced brakes, tires and the shocks once. My 2012 EcoBoost CEL light comes on and off, makes interestingly odd noises, eats up rear right tires and worries me when it'll blow up. 17K miles in the first 6 months so we'll see how she does. :-)
