New EB lift pump installed
Received my new lift pump from Mat this week so I undertook the job today. I debated on the drop tank vs bed removal methods and ended up just dropping the tank. The job is straight forward, as oned guy on the net said "a crippled monkey could do it". The two areas that hung me up were the fill neck coupler (the nut was at an awkward angle to reach) and the electrical connection to the pump housing has a red tab that is very brittle. Getting it loose wasn't really a hang up I guess just getting the connection loose with out breaking anything was the issue.
The unit is P&P, but Ford heat shrunk the hoses onto the barbs so they need cut off. The pump includes a new line for the pump but not the small line so I had to source that from Auto Zone. All in all I spent about 5 hours dropping, shopping, having lunch and replacing the pump and tank. I'm sure any of you with more mechanical inclination could probably pop this job off in 3ish.
I'll throw pics on after my phone is charged up.

Looking forward to seeing your results with the turbos that you'll be beta testing. The easiest test to see if it's doing it's job is go 50/50 E85 in the fuel tank. If you drop high pressure super low and it closes the throttle body then you're still out of fuel.

Strawhat has been a great tester, and even a friend. i laid out the worst case scenaro for shipment and cost and he still adked me for my shipping address. We are glad the have him in the MD&P community. He 's always willing to test out my crazy ideas. Now If he'd just get rid if those 33's he'd have a fast truck! We honestly believe that this rout is the best bang for your buck when it comes to Ecoboost F150 performance, no corners are cut, but nothing is overkill. Strawhat saw this and believed in our vision, and I'm proud to have our first set of 2013 turbos on his truck.

Okay guys a few pics
The fuel pump assembly still in the tank, the electrical connection here has a red tab that must be pulled to get it loose, be careful with it its very brittle. I used a small crow bar to tap the metal ring loose.
The 36 gallon beast...
The assembly, the small black hose needs to be sourced at Auto Zone, unless Mat will be supplying them in the future shipments.
Shiney new pump
The opaque hose is supplied with the pump, the black one with the clamps is the Auto Zone special. Everything is ready to go back in.

That fuel hose in the the tank needs to be a fuel submersible type. Costs about $5 per foot. Regular fuel hose will swell and the outer covering will break off. Found this out the hard way troubleshooting a JD tractor.
