Too ricey... I rarely leave the exhaust stock on anything I own so i had to give it a try. Some like it , I don't..

Some might not like it but please don't use term "ricey" to describe this exhaust. Huge difference between ricey and sporty. I love the sound even more now that it has mellowed.

Sound is subjective... To you it may be sporty but to me it's ricey, not everyone has the same tastes and views as you. There are plenty of videos out there to watch for anyone looking to buy an Eco exhaust.

I'd love to get an exhaust for my Eco for the performance boost, but frankly, I don't like the sound most of them make. I do like how quiet the truck is compared to the V8's, which sound really good but are sort of generically loud V8's.

Most of the exhausts I have heard seem to have that "import tuner" sound, IMHO. I can't say it's 'ricey', because I hear a lot of Audi's that sound like that, too. I just know I don't like the sound. There is something wrong with a super hot import that sounds like a deranged bee is up its butt screaming into a microphone, and I sure don't want my truck sounding like that.

I'd prefer a dual exhaust setup that improves power, isn't too loud, and keeps the truck a sleeper.

Import tuner is more accurate. Ricey is more like a 4 banger with a glass pack. Which this exhaust sounds nothing like. The term ricey is not used appropriately most of the time. just remember guys it will never ever sound like a V8 or a diesel. Once you overcome that you might be more receptive to the "import tuner" sound. As stated watch vid on SOLO website. Accurate and you can decide.

Why are people selling these kits like hot cakes all of the sudden? There must be an issue or just not worth the price tag?

I thought there was only two guys????

One had money issues and needed dough. There other is getting rid of the truck. Did I miss anything? Two or more, whatever isn't bad.

I was at Solo's shop a couple of weeks ago. The section of storage rack that they keep these kits in was basically empty. They're pretty much shipping them like crazy and can't keep stock.

So what way are you going to go with the truck or are you selling the truck to try something else? It just seems like a Solo Exhaust is in the ads every week.
