On my way to work I saw a screw Eco 2wd jockeyin through traffic. I Was in the correct lane to enter to an onramp just ahead, while he made it a point to bypass multiple cars and hop to the center lane at the red light as to pass us all when it would turn green. I locked it down +4wd and made it a very obvious I wasn't playing that game so he ended up behind me by many lengths. The rolling onramp again provided me a chance to do some exhaust cleaning and further make my point clear. I'm sure there is an Eco running around Vegas wondering why the same truck but 4x4 made a mockery of him on two different occasions. Loving this solo exhaust more and more

I've got about 2,000 miles on my Solo MR400 system now and it is finally starting to sound like a V8 throughout the whole RPM range. It would sound like a ricer under full throttle until now. Anyone that doesn't like the sound at first needs to give it some time, the resonator just needs time to break in and build up some carbon. Really love the exhaust and agree with jcain, you can make your point known easily with it's tone.

Thanks for the feedback...this is why we stress allowing the break-in. You have to be patient and wait for it to break in, just like a new car

just got done installing my single out mbrp system this morning..one word "disappointed"!! Not what I expected..Too quiet for my liking actually. Should have went with SOLO right off the bat..Mbrp doesn't really sound like the clips I saw on you tube, but then again most don't..Thinking I'll spring for the MR400 now in hopes it is better and take a hit on the mbrp system selling it here on the forum..any new reviews of the mr400 anyone would like to add or update? thanks

If you go with the MR400 I'd like to hear how it sounds in person if that's ok with you, Sluggo.

Having the exact same experience! I have about 750 miles on mine now and it is really starting to deepen in tone. I knew this when I first bought the system so I wasn't too panicked by the higher pitched "ricer" sound at first. Really starting to enjoy it more and more everyday. Also I have picked up about 1 - 1.5 MPG improvement since I put the system on. Although, lately that has been dropping because it is becoming harder and harder to stay out of the throttle with the tone deepening even more. Going to be putting a tuner on sometime soon. Will post updates on the tone after I put some more miles on it. All in all an amazing product and well worth the money spent! No regrets here!
