I get anywhere between 17.7 - 18.2 mpg avg per tank. Just depends on how agressive I drive. It is hard not to keep out of it sometimes(even worse with an exhaust)!

I have a 3.55 LS rear end.
I drove almost 200 miles this weekend on the interstate at about 70 MPH. On the way there I was in a stiff headwind. It sucked. I got, maybe, 16 MPG.
On the way back, the wind was behind me, not directly, but behind me. It had died down a bit, but was a help nonetheless. I also had a motorcycle in the bed.
Round trip I was around 18 MPG. Going 70 sucks a lot more gas.
I don't drive city much, so I can't comment on real-world city mileage.

quick update...
A quick update for those interested.
I have been riding my motorcycle a lot this warm season, so I haven't driven my truck a lot.
The attached image (I hope you can see it) shows about 20 mpg over the past 2500 miles and 21-ish over the last 500 or so miles.
The last 500 miles were mostly a drive to and from vacation, with errands and short trips around the area we visited. The truck hauled two adults, two children, and roughly 400 lbs of stuff.
The last 2500 miles were more of a mix of short and long-ish drives, but mileage was still quite good, overall.
The 500 mile journey included many strong passes, as we traveled on two lane highway the majority of the way. The point is, I drive it nicely, but do use the power when I need it.
Drive safely.

My 2011 5.0 screw 4x4 gets roughly 17.5 overall driving with or slightly faster than traffic. If I set the cruise at 60mph I get 22.x on the highway. Set cruise at 75mph I got 21.3 driving from CT to ME. Terrain is rolling hills here, not much flat but no big climbs either. Removing the exhaust resonator made zero change in mpg and is just as quiet at most throttle openings other than wide open.

5.0 4x4 3.55 rear end, 18" wheels
69-70 mph - 20-20.5 mpg
73-74 mph - 18 - 18.5 mpg
All around MPG 18 - 18.5 mpg, not a lot of city driving
Live in South La where the ground is flat and just above sea level.
Love the 5.0. glad I didn't go with the EB.

Here is a quick update on my mileage. Over the last 6-7k miles, I have an average of about 20.5 MPG. This is mostly winter driving, as I ride my motorcycle a lot during the warmer months.
We recently took a trip of about 515 miles each way, plus 200-300 miles driving around the area we visited.
Below is an image of the results.
I am quite pleased with 22.5 MPG over 1321 miles.
The truck had two adults and luggage/other travel stuff.
We drove state highways with speed limits typically ranging from 60 to 70 MPH, though we had to stop several times for single-lane construction zones. I set cruise a lot of the way, but did make several passes, as there was a lot of two lane highway.
The 200-300 miles we drove in the area we visited included a lot of stop/go, VERY curvy and hilly mountainous roads.
Summary...Not good gas mileage in general terms, BUT, for a truck, great gas mileage.

Nice and very impressive. I've decided to take the F150 on a family road trip next week which will total around 1200 miles and I can't wait to see what it will pull. My best "tank full" has been right at 20mpg so far with 30 gallons used in 601 miles with around a 30/70 city/highway split.
