Default My 2009 F150 while In mud truck doesn’t rev right

When for example I go alittle off roading and wanna get alittle side ways or cut a few donuts in my 2009 5.4 I’ll turn the traction and stability control off. After I cut the first donut or two the truck loses power completely. It’ll cut to like 2500 rpm and will stay there even if I keep my foot on the floor. I know it sounds like I’m ******* the **** out of it but I’m really not I’m just trying to cut a few donuts. Any suggestions of what’s wrong ?

Sounds like another safety feature kicking in.

Doesn't the traction control features turn back on after a certain mph, maybe pull the fuse to disable traction control completely until your mud running is over.

I can tell you on my '16 roll stability kicks in even when TC and AdvanceTrac are turned off. It's actually pretty annoying. My guess is it's something like that kicking on and cutting the power.
