Question Multiple error messages with no start

I recently purchased a 2011 FX4 EB F150 build date 10/21/2011. After driving for about 20 miles in rain on highway I got to town and all hell broke loose. Gauges all dropped to home position and message center threw up the following error messages: engine over temp, low oil pressure, service advancetrac, check 4x4, starting system fault, and the wrench. Odometer readout went to all dashes. I immediately turned off the engine and placed in neutral. After coasting to stop in safe area I attempted to restart and nothing happened. Checked fuses and disconnected battery to attempt a reset. This worked for about 100 yards and it did it all over again. Now it will not start at all. I tried to hook to my scanner and no communication can be established. HELP PLEASE!!!

I'd be demanding a refund from whomsoever you bought it from.

I don't think that's a viable option but we are in talks about who's paying to fix it. Of course they won't say much until it gets checked out.

Here's a link to a video that is almost exactly the same, just on a '13 instead of my '11. The only difference is mine does not display the passenger seat error message. So I know it's happened before and I'm hoping someone here has some idea.

1st check to make sure your battery cables and connections are all free of corrosion or broken. U seem to have lost power So it is justifiable to follow up on the battery etc. Poor battery voltage will cause all these multiple problems at the same time.

They all looked good when I checked it but I'll look a little harder, thanks!

Problem found... Main communication wire between control modules wore through from rubbing on left fender liner. 5.5 hours of labor later to diagnose and .5 to repair and secure to prevent reoccurrence

I'm throwing up the BS flag on this one. You have not one, but two vehicles that throw every error message and you somehow found a wire that wore through even though its insulted and in a wire cover. Yeah, that's believable.

It looks like something/debris or 2 legged tore it open sometime in the past. maybe some mod was thought to need cobbled into there or other problem searched for. Good find and good luck with it. Most any competent will cover it back up with a good shielding. Usually that type of problem will cause other problems with burning of them or fuses ka-putt. Others do have assorted this type of problems but they usually are in the cab where this occurs mostly. The wire with yellow on it seems to have some damage to it also, corrosion will get in there and do havoc. U want to seal your splices from moisture/salt or sooner than later U will have some reals to deal with again.
