I have logged my truck and another truck and both were negative throughout. My latest revision sits almost always on zero so I guess that's dialed in.

You shouldn't have to drive the truck hard to make it not knock. If you do that you don't have any "eco" left in your ecoboost and fuel economy will go downhill fast

Are you using the torque app when you see those numbers or from data logging with the sct?

I cant find the post MPT put on here months ago regarding knock retard, but I can sum it up.
You can tune an engine to where the ecu isn't detecting knock, therefore it will add timing until there is kr detected.

No, I use my Livewire. SkiSmuggs uses Torque App and both show abnormally high numbers.

I just got it last week and hope to do a datalog and get it sent in.

My problem is- this is the latest version of the MPT tune. Why does it need revised? Multiple people are talking about high knock counts on this latest version- so I know that it's not just my truck. Sounds like it shouldn't of been released if everyone that gets it has to have it revised.
MPT advertised that it was "extra safe" but it has the highest knock of any tune that I have.

This can happen with ANY tune and ANY revision. Get that sucker logged and back out of your truck. Whether it is MPT or SSI, your tuner WILL work to ensure your truck is making good power that is as safe as is possible. It just takes working with your tuner......

Ask anyone who has ever tuned a vehicle no two vehicles are 110% the same as far as tuning, take two off the showroom floor put the same tune and you will have minor differences.

And maybe the gas your running doesn't have enough octane...

I was always confused by this. Negative is good and positive beyond a certain amount is bad when lookign at logs?

That's right. If knock is negative the comp is adding timing. If it's positive the truck is having to pull timing. It seems the consensus is that 0 with some positive as long as it doesn't hold constant positive makes most power.
