2011 F150 XL 5.0 single cab long bed
120,000 Miles
Only been in shop for scheduled maintenance
only issues is about 20,000 miles ago I started hear an annoying knock when I turn on the AC but it stops after maybe 6-7 Knocks/click(sound) won't start again until I start truck again.
also the paint on my tailgate and right behind cab has chipped away to the point where there is literally no paint and just keeps chipping away what is there. Started around 75,000 miles and right when warranty expired.
love the truck though and I'm hard as hell on it especially down these caliche roads of West Texas and using it for hog hunting. Done drug plenty of Chevys and Dodges as well, lol. No complaints really runs strong.

Catch Can
I've got a 2011 3.5 EB that has about 43,000 on it. At 32,000 I installed a catch can. I was horrified at the amount of gunk it catches (very roughly about a pint or more per 1000 miles) and then blows back in on the backside of the DI intake valve which bakes onto the valve with no cleaning method approved by Ford. This stuff blows into the combustion chamber, and some of it returns into the crankcase as blow by again, gradually causing the oil to get degraded, and I would bet severely if you are going 10K. IMHO, the Catch Can is an essential part of any GDI engine. I run about 4K miles between full synthetic oil changes. There is absolutely no reason to think the EB engine should run longer between oil changes, and if anything, less.

There's a knock haha, but it's been there for the past 200k miles. Here's my thread of going into the engine, clean as a whistle.

It's all I the maintenance. My truck has been maintained meticulously from day 1 and it is paying off in dividends. To this day I have hauled and towed to the max limit and even a little more and this thing hasn't skipped a beat. I will probably rebuild the transmission and engine when they start to fail as the rest of the truck is in mint condition and I only paid $1500 for it.....
