The only cases I could find on the internet involve guys using super chargers and at least from the pictures, detonation looks to be the reason. I can't find a case (at least on the 6.2) where some schmo like me was tooling along and the engine gernaded.

That's why I went with the 5.0 and blower. I felt I could make as much or more safer than with the 6.2 basses off the mustang crowed.

As for the op....search on here some there have been a few who had that happen I think. I have...for no reason...just made a slow turn and it died. Has only happened once.

Its 100%normal!! If the truck reverse when in drive the truck gonna shut down it happen to me couple times!!! Probly to be safe for the trans!

What i try to said is : the gear selector in drive and the truck backup before you put it in reverse!! I try 4 truck pull ( silverado,titan,dodge,tundra) with my FX4 ecoboost and if I let off throttle before press the brake and my friend pull me my truck stall!!!

What is your definition of modded? Are we safe with just an off the shelf tune in your opinion?
