As a side note
Asked the service guy at the counter if the new part had a superceded # or had been updated?
answered no, and we were surprised yours went bad,we have not seen that before. So there ya go.

@ centex guy

Be glad they didn't try to blame it on a quick lube place screwing up the oil fill and damaging the sensor.

Or did the dealer do the oil changes?

I had it towed to the dealer using Ford roadside assistance.
It sure was showing all the signs of low oil pressure.
At first it did it after a 30 min. full warm up.
Only when I came to a stop, low RPM’s flick the gas and it would go up, then back down to zero.
Then it started doing it going down hills with my foot off the gas.

Guess we will find out soon enough.

Just called to check in and make sure then knew my truck was there.
Is it part of the interview process to make sure the service guy treats you like **** in a passive aggressive manner?

Boss:
“Do you know how to make a customer feel dumb and annoying while keeping a smile on your face?”

Potential employee:
“Oh hell yeah, that’s my thing! Just ask my wife, she feels so insignificant she almost committed herself!”

I had a truck lose oil pressure soon after an oil change. Turned out to be the aftermarket oil filter. Ever since I've always used a high quality or factory oil filter.

@ packplantpath
I change my own oil and filter for just that reason.
Mines still under warranty so
Would be foolish to use anything but motorcraft oil and filter.
My guess is they got a bad run of these from supplier?
It happens.
