Actually, according to my service manager, the latest TSB reduces power off the line on the EB.
He said all the dealers were getting sick of the Lokis coming in and crying about the lack of power compared to the EB so they evened it out. It still has more power mid range for towing though.
;-)

I test drove a 2012 screw eco with max tow (3.73 LS) and 157". At one point I turned from one county road onto another, from a stop. I accelerated to 20mph, and then punched it. It surprised me with a short peel. More than a chirp, but not smoking the tires for any length either. Rough paved roads. For those that say they can't spin the tires, check your tire pressure too.

Sounds more like 'Eco-Bust' than Eco-Boost'

My Ecoboost Screw 3.55 Limited Slip never really squealed them from a dead start. Every once in a while it spin them a bit and would get a second gear chirp. I think the Limited slip had a lot to do with it. I would definately rather have the traction of the limited slip than the slip of an open diff any day. Just got back today from Left Catylitic converter replaced and TSB 120210B. Did not notice a power loss but it was raining hard but that did not stop me from getting on it fairly hard to see if it ran any different. I will check again when it is dry but I though it had the same power.
