So the F150 isn't an isolated case.

From a sponsered link on this forum, Fox news released a story about Ecoboost owners sueing Ford and how Ford hasn't released a recall to fix the problem.

Time to trade before all of this gets out of hand and really dings the re-sale value.

The only thing going for us F150 owners on resale is that other makers also have their problems. As long as Ford can release a TSB that definitely fixes the problem, it would be a none issue. I'm sure there's a fix but they seem to want to take the cheaper, easier way first.

This is already BAD publicity for Ford. In this case, any kind of publicity is NOT good. Ford can fix this, and I think they'd better!

I've had zero problems in 45k miles. If prices drop then maybe Ill get a sweet deal on a new Ecoboost.

Weather or not the claims are warranted or not it was the deciding factor for me purchasing my 5.0L 2013 F150 6 weeks ago. I don't buy any large purchases based solely on a "test drive" after doing homework and talking to other owners I feel I did my due diligence with my purchase and have comfort level that made me feel I made the right decision.

I understand others have had zero issues but to ignore the people that do and say there is just a few small isolated cases isn't helping anyone. Denial to justify your own purchase is biatch.

I completely agree. My truck need a heart transplant and a hip replacement not a band-aid

Done....

No seriously I traded a 2011 XLT eco for a raptor 3 weeks ago. It's awesome.

But my eco had 60k miles when traded and no problems, great mpg, great power, and the turbo noise was nice.
