Do not let them do TSB 13-3-3!!!!
You will hate the loss of power and the problem will still be there!

There is definitely a loss of power with 13-3-3. My truck has lost that kick in the pants that it had. I'm not certain exactly what is happening and what they changed. It seems to be a little slower on the throttle before boost hits. It also seems to downshift earlier. Perhaps an effort to spin the turbos and build more boost to force condensate out of the CAC, if indeed that's the problem.

Right now, I think Ford engineers are scratching themselves trying to solve the problem. I imagine the pressure is on to come up with a solution that does not include a major component redesign. They are also under pressure to avoid a recall.

For those of you who have not had this problem, I understand how you think it isn't that big of a deal. But, believe me, it is. I love the EB, but another one of these stutter and limp issues in rainy/humid conditions and I'm in for a 5.0.

Well, you know how reliable butt dynos are! I don't have any times to compare it to. It just feels different, and that could be the thing. The new mapping makes the truck's power feel different. Thanks for the info on times. The clock doesn't lie.

So I see the 2013's aren't in the TSB. I'm also assuming the 2013's aren't immune to this problem. My truck has a build date of January of 2013 and it has the updated CAC with the shield. What are my chances of seeing this issue?

0 to 100% Mine is an 11 a and no problem. Humidity here has been 100% for over a month most days thick fog no miss or bog 67000 Kms on the truck. Buy it drive it and smile. If your worried about and ecoboost you should also be worried about any other truck you buy. They all break.

They aren't "breaking" they are experiencing a design flaw...and yes I have had it. Because you haven't ever had the flu does not mean it doesn't exist.

Is it the MAF getting condensation on it, or is it coming from elsewhere? Has anyone put the truck on a mustang or load based dyno, and tested it in the rain?
