Cool Livernois vs Unleashed vs FullRace

Based off of reading forums, Superchips,MPT, Hypertech(Similar to Livernois) and 5 Star are pretty good tunes and have there place, But dont compare to Livernois on a performance tune. But it seems Unleashed may be running a close second. And I have heard nothing on the Full Race tune except that their tune works good with their exhaust. I know Livernois doesn't work on the SCT setup, but it appears every other one does. Livernois setup takes about 7 minutes to retune and can hold 4+stock. SCT takes a bit longer but you can customize more and hold more tunes. So My question is, For a guy like me who has a 2011 eco boost, no mods yet, (Planning an a few) what is the best performance tune? 87 & 93. I dont want to put my motor in danger, but at the same time, I dont want to decide on a tune and find I am missing out on HP/Torque Gains. Any Thoughts? I was leaning toward Livernois, I dont need more than 4 tunes. But the SCT Livewire seems cool too(With a badass tune of course).

I couldn't be happier with the Livernoise 93v2 performance tune. I'm getting better mpg, drivability is much improved, and I can break the rear loose anytime I want. I've been running it for about two months now...zero regrets. Also, it never took seven minutes to load a tune, every time has been under five. Good luck.

The fullrace tune is not out as of this minute.

The rest you are stirring a pot.

IMHO, its all about the same. There's only one livernois truck that has actually ran faster than equal trucks on the best sct based tunes. Take that for what you will.

Why would there even be one truck faster with that tune? Wouldn't that tune be similar on all these trucks? Or is it the other mods paired with the tune that makes the gains?

He's saying that one livernois tuned truck trapped 103 with other bolt ons. That's over 3 mph faster than any other Livernois tuned truck with similar mods. Don't get me wrong, I love my tune but it seems like several other tuners are trapping 99mph. As soon as that livernois truck trapped 103 I bet sales went up x5.

Take any 10 engines off the assembly line and they will all post different numbers. That 103 truck could have just been the cream of the crop. That said, it takes me close to 10 minutes to change my Livernois tune, so maybe my PCM is slower than the rest.

I respectfully disagree that it was a factory freak. With how much our trucks weight in order for a truck to go from trapping 99mph to trapping 103mph the math says it takes 65hp more. The math does not lie that truck is making 65hp more then the other livernois trucks with the exact same mods. I think 65hp Is a little more then a factory freak 25-30hp I would agree with you 100%. Then again they could of also found a way to pull 500lbs off the truck to get the same results.Lol!! It was a sales tactic and it worked

Has anyone else raced at the track the Livernois truck ran at? Is it a fast track? Is this a full weight truck?

I'm running the Livernois 91 race tune,i ran it at the track Saturday and with just the tune I picked up 1 whole second. I'm really happy with it, I just wish I had 93 available.

I haven't raced at that track but I have nearly the same mods. I ran at a sea level track, 60 degrees, great DA, 15-20mph tailwind and I couldn't break 100 trap speed. I can't imagine more ideal conditions. I asked Rick about this and he said it was the exact same tune as everyone gets. Maybe that truck owner snuck a 50shot on it.
