Mine was the same way until last week when I downloaded the tow tune. It now reads "stock" or "Special". I think the firmware was updated.

I do not know of any firmware updates. I know that it does do a check and apply an update if there are any with the remote loader, but the device I have here has always said if the file was "stock" or "special".

For stock tire size vehicles that had the speedo off, we've narrowed it down to 1 strategy and always change the size even if they are stock for that strategy.

We accept PayPal, but when we set it up online, it wasn't charging the fees, so we can do it through pm or email with PayPal.

I had asked this earlier, but it got buried in the thread.

Has anyone had a very rough idle that was fixed with this tuner?

I do almost all city driving and my idle is terrible. Of course I had it looked at by Ford twice and they say all is fine. I recently took a long trip and was able to open the truck up a bit on some long hills and highway entrances. My idle has slightly improved and I feel as though this truck really hates city driving and is not "tuned" for stop and go traffic as much as it is for towing or being abused like that informercials they made for it.

Any advice on if this tuner would help my issues or not?

And to add to this question above since it's somewhat related, can the tuner set the 5-6 shift point a little higher to avoid the lug "shudder" that some of us feel at 55ish?
