Livernois flashes their EB shop truck! Custom tunes in the works

I'm just saying it's a lot of hp gained for the buck. The different tuners can tackle things vastly different from each other. If they feel as though the amount of programming done and R&D time is worth charging extra for, then they'll charge extra. If they communicate their advantages well enough, people will pay the extra. I know one tuner that has been tuning and testing the EB for at least 4 months. My guess is they'll charge more than the others. Can BD or Superchips claim the fastest EB vehicles in the country, with no failures? If not, then people should be willing to pay extra for the Livernois tuner.
A custom tune on the dyno costs more and you get less for it. I had a custom tune done once, then spent the next 6 months ironing out seemingly minor drivability issues. If I had paid them to do 6 months of driving and tweaking, it would've been more than $650.
BTW, the KEM tuner is $999.

The encryption was more difficult to crack than we expected, but all of the hard work finally paid off! Today, we were able to successfully flash our EcoBoost F150 shop truck!!
Now, we just need to get the truck on the dyno to work on our custom tune files. These files will be similar to those that have put countless other EcoBoost powered vehicles in the 12-second ET range.
We appreciate you patience and will send another email once the tunes are officially available.
Thank you

I've said since i got my truck that I wasn't going to do anything to it but this tune looks pretty awesome. I would be sold on it if i could take my truck back to a stock tune without the dealer being able to tell it had been flashed. I guess there is no way around that in the f150's?
