So an FX4 hitting low fourteens is rare. I'm pretty sure I could have hit high 14's if weather was colder here and wasn't as humid as other places. Also Rick@Livernois said when you receive your tune you get the latest tune from your strategy so it can't be that Heyman strategy is out of date.... so that takes stock calibration out of the equation.

Just to make it clear. I'm not the op and I am still stock. Sorry OP i'm not trying to Hijack your thread, i'm just relating what your experiencing. OP i think what you hit stock was fine so a full second off is impressive. I'm thinking of getting Livernois' tune but i might just wait until they get the meth or alky injection running. I'm now running 295/70/18 trails so im not looking to be the fastest just a tad faster now

As long as he went to the same track and weather was close to the same, it's a good comparison. It would have been better to flash back to stock to make a pass to compare runs from the same day though.
Our FX4 Crew Cab long bed went 14.4 stock... track opens this weekend and we plan to go back soon to try with the tune.

Yeah, i went to the same track. The weather was alittle cooler this time around. It seems to me that my truck runs better when its warmer out. Both times i went to the track my best pass was my first one.
Rick- i love the tune, my only thing is that it seems like the 2nd to 3rd shift kinda hangs there for a second then shifts.

Depending on his location, elevation also makes a huge difference in ET. We have a car here that could be a bracket car. We took it to a magazine shootout at E-Town and it ran .7 quicker than it's ever been here and we came back here and it ran the same as it always does (.7 slower than it did there).

I don't understand how these guys that also have an fx4 hit low 14s. I have a 2011 FX4 w/18's and stock i hit 15.00@92 . I live in south texas. Our track is about 30 miles away from the border, and about 80 miles away from the coast; Usually its humid and high temps. Geno if you hit 14.37 on an FX4 stock then you must be the fastest Eco there is because there hasn't be a supercab that has hit lower than that. Im confused how there is a huge power gap.... I would love to know what your truck dyno's Geno... motor must be a freak of nature.
So I would ask....(not trying to be a wise guy) why are some of you guys so slow?
The track and weather conditions will make a difference, but it should not be as big as what I'm seeing.

Having such a slow baseline doesn't advertise well for the livernois tune. Back when Fastlane came out with their tune the 1/4 times were much like the OPs. Everyone, including me, said the tune was garbage. We need to see a 14.4 baseline truck run with the tune. Factory freaks are a reality so this might be what's happening here, only opposite. Nice add in trap speed. I want to see 100mph traps.
