I don't like the dual exit exhaust, I'm a fan of the rear single or dual side exit.
Should I get a Flow 40 muffler with custom pipes or should I get a magnaflow kit and swap the muffled for a flowmaster? My mechanic says $150 install if I bring him my own kit. I'm a girl by the way so please don't be mean.

Best sound I've heard so far on a 3.7 truck. Reminds me of the exhaust note of a friend's 300/4spd F150 that had a cam, 4bbl carb, headers, and a lot of work done to the head.
I've heard better sounding 3.7 exhausts on Mustangs (some were downright sexy, including a 3.7 car with GT500 take-offs welded in), but I believe that's because their valve timing is different.

Been driving my 3.7 for 60,000km now. Last 5 fill ups on crappy canadian tire 91 octane with SCT 91 perf tune. Switching to shell V power 91 octane now.
So far no problems with engine other than twice on warranty the oil pan gasket leaked.
Not thrilled with fuel econ, but I do have 800#s or more in the truck every day and usually one ladder on the roof rack.
Pretty decent all around for a truck I got for $32k new I think. Only wish I had factory tow package.
I wouldn't do a half ton (well, maybe a heavy payload f150) again for work, but for a personal truck its great. I imagine the 3.5 in the newer aluminium trucks is a good combo too.

Just hit 117,000 miles and running like a champ so far *knocks on wood*
I am a bit behind on the scheduled maintenance and am still running original spark plugs. Plan to take care of that this weekend as long as I don't chicken out. Only hassle is removing the intake manifold, but should be an easy job.
Dealers quoted me in the 300 dollar range to change the plugs and there is no way I am going to pay for that. If I can I will take some pictures of the install.

Honestly im appaled with the mileage my little red gets. On the highway im getting like 20 mpg. A tonneau cover seems to help a little though..but im curious if lowering it would help.
My hemi awd chrysler did around 25 and its only about 800lbs lighter than a rcsb 4x4.
Mines got 3.73s 20s and 4x4.

Just had a rad hose seal/o ring let go Friday afternoon while it was minus 30 and I had work booked all weekend. So far the first engine related issue other than leaking oil pan gasket which was fixed on warranty. 74k km.

I traded it in on a V8 4WD Toyota 4Runner that averages better fuel economy. It's a 4WD 4Runner that's full-time 4WD, so it's always sending power to all four wheels (which burns fuel), and is still geting 16-19mpg every tank. Let that sink in for a second. My insurance and payments are also a lot cheaper... and the 4Runner's nicer (leather, sunroof, JBL sound, projector headlights, custom wheels)...
I don't miss my 3.7... yet. That could definitely change the next time I tow my trailer (the one thing that F150 did so damned well), we'll see how the 4Runner does at that job.

20mpg out of my 2014 Scab 3.7 2WD would've been good enough for me to keep it, but it got that twice... in three years of highway commuting. Three years of 15-17mpg highway when I settled for a V6 in the name of fuel economy was enough. Throw in all of the other things that annoyed me about my F150 (Sync, Scab doors, unpredictable throttle response, craptacular headlights, etc.) and I ditched it as soon as I was paid down enough to afford it.
