Default launch with elocker

I tried searching, sorry if this has been posted before...

My 2013 2wd has 3.31 w/ elocker.

Is it possible to launch at the track with the rear locked? Would it make a difference?

Yes you can but it disengages at 20mph. It will help off the line traction but can make wheel hope worse.

I've had great success playing around with e-locker engaged and 4HI on my truck. On my old FX2 it didn't help at all, still massive wheel spin and wheel hop.

Doesn't make a whole lot of difference whether mine's engaged or not, I still get wheel hop unless I roll into the throttle. Now 4wd is another thing. But I would rather not boost launch mine above about 1500 rpm, those front end components are just not as strong as the rear wheel drive.
