Now back on track with the actual purpose of this thread. I installed an Injen CAI Thursday night, and have driven about 100 miles with it. I'm not really liking it. Mrpositraction had mentioned that his Roush intake didn't play well with the Bully Dog at light throttle acceleration. I'm experiencing the same thing. The truck is dumping boost during light throttle, which makes it feel sluggish. You can distinctly hear it dumping the boost. At WOT, the truck feels quicker than it did without the intake, but at light to medium throttle, it felt peppier with the stock intake. I'm going to drive with the Injen on for another day or so, and may put the stock intake back on to see what difference it makes.

It's funny to read posts from those of you talking about the price of tuners. WHO CARES!!!!!!! The point of this thread is how well the BULLY DOG tuner (FYI: only tuner on the market for the Ecoboost ) is working with the New Ecoboost engine. So let's get back to the point of this thread and stop this $$$$ BS.

I've had the tuner about a week now with no complaints other than the aforementioned 1-2 shifts. Its easy to work your foot around that though. I also have the air raid intake and the heartthrob exhaust. I love it. Tons of power.
I'd say my favorite part is letting it shift to 2nd then letting it build full boost(I see 12 psi) without downshifting! Tons of torque!!

I have been experiencing something very similiar. My truck makes a "popping/bumping" noise under light acceleration between 1-2K RPMs. It feels like I'm losing power while this is occurring. I had first noticed it after I put my Air Raid CAI on. I put my stock intake back on and truck does the same thing, just not as loud. I took truck to my Ford dealer and they suggested driving a brand new one. It did the same thing! they said that I was the first person to complain about it. I'm no mechanic, but I can't imagine that these engines are supposed to be doing this. I put my Air Raid back on since it wasn't the culperet.
Hard to say. Sub'd though!
