make sure you hand calculate all of it. the in dash display is notorious.
and yeah cruise control is great if the roads are flat, i can do better with my foot on hills. gain speed going down and lug it up the next hill

Where did you order your cold air intake and how much was it? I just reinstalled the premium tune and went and dove in on a short trip on the highway... Shifting is still hard. Im glad to hear that it softens up after time because it sure hits hard in the 1-2 shifts. Fuel mileage seemed to be consistant from the productivity screen and on the bully dog. It sucked!! again i had the cruise on at about 70. Got about 18-19. It has gotten much cooler that the other day so maybe thats it. Maybe i need to check it the old school way. Im just a little concerned. Ill be glad when someone puts one on the dyno and check air/fuel and turbo temps under a hard pull. Ive never used bully dogs stuff. Always use SCT and never had issues, but then again SCT never made the type of power the bully dog does on a gas engine. What is bully dog doing different.... Hopefully not pushing the limits. Another concern of mine is if it is going to be tracable if i have to take it to ford for whatever reason. I did do the extended warranty for the piece of mind... Just hoping i didnt ruin my piece of mind...lol Granted i work for ford and will get a discount. But how much can they discount a new motor, turbos, transmission ect... By the way. I have a FX2 with 3:55 gears, just now turning 500 miles.. Oh one other thing for you Esquire... Did you happen to notice the turbos sounding louder on the tune vs stock? Thanks man. I feel like we are the only two with these tuners and i feel like a test dummy and a little worried about what this thing is doing to my motor.. Peace

I don't think Bully Dog achieved the gains by actually upping the boost, but rather by not dumping boost. The tuner has a boost gauge on it, and under WOT runs, I only see 13 psi. Based on previous dyno runs I've seen of untuned EBs, 13psi is also max psi for stock trucks. The difference is that Bully Dog's tune doesn't dump boost at WOT like the stock tune does. It holds 13 psi all the way.
Not dumping boost, is the same as upping the boost. If you run 10-12 psi at peak hp, then run 13 psi at peak power, that is increasing boost, regardless if the engine utilizes 13 psi in the bottom of the curve for torque production.
Like was stated earlier, u cannot compare a gas tuner for a naturally aspirated engine to a gas tuner for a turbo engine, simply because you cannot control the amount of air that a NA motor can ingest.
Does the BD have datalogging abilities? If so, it would be cool to see what the boost curve is between the stock tune, the 87, and the premium.

@Boosted 2011: yes you ruined your piece off mind. Ford can tell if any tuner has ever been connected as it is stored in encrypted areas and can only be retrieved by a dealer. If you experience any motor troubles or throw codes or have tranny issues you have now given Ford an excuse not to cover it.
