Seriously though. These engines seem to have done serious blow-by issues.
Would never do such a thing to a beer.....even a bad beer

Any issues installing? Did the kit come with everything you needed?

I bought mine from Southern Speed, they sell the kit for the F150. I just linked Rx directly because of the stigma SS has here.

**update**

It's been about 400 miles since I drained the driver side can and installed the passenger side can so today I checked them both.

Contents from driver side can on left, passenger can on right. About 1.5 oz in driver side can. Watery and smells like gas but neither side will burn when a lighter is held to it.

I also changed oil today. I have been using Motorcraft syn-blend. Poured in Pennzoil Ultra. I see if that makes any difference.

I let mine settle overnight, and it is in 3 layers, Top layer oil, then a milky color, then what appears to be dirty water. Smells more like oil now but the oil layer is on top.

Consider sending it off to Rockvalley for an analysis? It will give you an idea of what it's actually collecting.

That might be a good idea.

I dont care what anybody says...This has to be contributing to the CAC issues with the ecoboost in my opinion. Everything that comes out of the hole or when a cac is cleaned out it is a dark yellow colored oily mess, the same as what is being seen in the catch can. Lets go one further....Has anyone with catch cans installed on an eco experienced the "condensation" problem? I received my UPR cans today, but at -10 degrees, wont be able to install for a little bit. I have never had any issues with my eco, but decided to add these out of precaution and longevity.

Yeah but the water has to come from somewhere right? I thought about this also. That maybe it's not water but just blow by building up in the intercooler. Are we sure that's not gasoline?

as previously said, it did NOT burn when tried to ignite so its not all gas! I think its a combination of oil,gas and water. the water is from condensation in the motor from heating and cooling cycles.

Thumbs up Catch can

I put a catch can on the passenger side valve cover and vented the driver side to a washable crankcase filter and capping off the inlet tube. Should I add a second catch can or will this setup work ok. I'm getting the same brown crap as seen in the pictures in this post. I also am amazed how much liquid I'm collecting in my catch can.I also drilled the hole in the cac . I did all of these mods with less than 1,000 miles on my truck. No problems so far. I just want to thank all the people who post there problems and fixes,it has helped guys like me prevent the same things from happening to our trucks!!
