anyone know if the BOV could risk damage being VTA?

the coupler on the tube is definately not waterproof (i wouldn't think) and by the time water got there, wouldn't it just straight up submerg the BOV anyways?

I do however go through some deep snow at times, so I'm hoping that's not a concern neither.

So did y'all who did it remove the hose and just cap the bottom hole?

new here. Could you just disconnect the hose from the top portion and cap the bottom of the intake? That way the BOV still vents up to get the sound but is not open down low where water can get in-- If that makes sense
