They sent me 9 sample caps! 6 vinyl and 3 silicon. As well as some misc fittings and fusion tape. Sweet!

I just did this today after finally finding a cap. For those who have been driving for awhile without anything on the BOV end, have you had any issues?

I'm thinking an elbow might be best to keep water and other debris out of the outlet.

I do not have anything on the BOV end, and have had 0 issues so far. But it's been less than a month. I might put a universal breather type filter on it. Not sure yet.

How would a vinyl cap do? Could it deteriorate with the heat?
