Default How long do you get on a set of plugs

I have had my truck since new. First set lasted 43000 KM. My last set lasted 17300 KM. Now i should note i am no mechanic and had cylinder 4 misfire code both times. Would get a lot of shudder and bucking on a hard acceleration. Seems good after plug change so i am feeling pretty sure its not a coil pack.

What's your plugs been lasting for?

Make sure they are gapped correctly... the new gap size is closer to .29-.32 instead of the original HUGE factory gap

Ecoboost is known to eat plugs, OE and aftermarket. My understanding is the Motorcraft SP-534 is the longest lasting, however long that will be.

Had to change my first set at just under 30k miles due to rough idle on cold start and slight surging, they looked fine except gap was around.035.
I only have 2k miles on this set, we shall see. I'm now tuned on this set so I'm assuming I'll be changing them by 20k miles.
Call me crazy but I enjoyed changing these plugs.

Believe it or not I found a piece of tape loose inside the hole with one of my spark plugs. That prompted me to check every hole with a mirror and flashlight.

My plugs still were the perfect colored light brown at 30K on my EB, but the gap was all over the place, from .038 to .042.
Seeing as I had them out to check that, I changed them to the new Motorcrafts, all gapped at .030 right out of the box. The idle smoothed up really well with all the same, and smaller gaps.
The above was on my 2012......does anyone know if the new plugs, with the correct gapping are more consistent from the factory on the 2014's?

I checked a couple plugs on my 2014 when I first got it and they were .030 so I called it good.
The first time I checked the gaps on my 2011 they ranged from .035 - .039

Not the best pics. Gap was still .30. Do these pics show anything. I know nothing about plugs

Your pics are too out of focus to really tell much, but if your plugs look like the ones below, then they are running perfectly. Notice the light brown color which indicates near perfect stochiometric balance. No oily residue. None of the electrodes worn or discolored. These were out of my 2012 EB at 32,000 miles and the gaps were way too large (.038 to .042) but they still looked good when I took them out.
