+1. A new CAC is on order for my truck. Sight loss in power is worth peace of mind when it comes to my family's safety.

If the power loss is so slight that the butt dyno can't pick it up then I'm ok with it. If it is noticeable, that means its quite significant on the real dyno. That would make me rethink it since I bought this truck for the low end grunt. I can make my truck NOT fall on its face in the rain just by accelerating every 15-20 min when I'm cruising in the rain for long periods of time so I don't feel unsafe. To me it's more annoying than anything. I would be interested to see a dyno before and after.

Hint hint.........That only works if the detuning is in the PCM. If the detuning comes from the new hardware (intercooler) then there is a question mark as to whether or not the tuner can make up the difference.

Unfortunately mine didn't do it in the rain either of the two times. Last time, today, my wife had been on the interstate for all of 1/2 mile and was only 2 miles into trip. 43*F 80% humidity. Dew point roughly 32*. Perfect storm I guess.

Ps, butt dynos are notoriously inaccurate. If the 2013 models have this CAC and stategy they would be slower. Are they?

That certainly makes it more of an issue than it is for me. Mine only does it in the rain. At least that's been the case so far. Hopefully this is the final fix.

Is the ecu still learning? Maybe there's a new learning curve. Give it a few days.
