How can I squeeze the MPG's out of my ecoboost?
I have been doing a lot of reading over the past couple of days looking and looking on here and the good ol interweb to see how I can increase my Eco's MPG with no luck other than to decrease the weight and things of that nature.
I have had fords for years but always a diesel f250 .I always put the banks power bundle on it to get the best power and best mpg possible which includes 6" exhaust, intercooler, toner and cold air intake.
I was assuming when I down sized to this Ecoboost that soon there would be someone that would come out with such a thing for the Ecoboost. I haven't herd of anything to date but maybe you have.

You can order economy tunes from the custom tuners.

The number one mod for best mpg, and the chapeau to boot: fix the loose but behind the wheel. :-)
Prior to my exhaust, I was able to knock down consistently 21-22mpg on the highway. With my current mods and no tune I run around 24mpg on the highway.
Single best thing is to slow down. With my 3:55 gearset I found 58-60mph to be the magic sore for best economy.
Drive it like your grandma stole it and it will get better.

dont drive it
mine hasnt moved all week; fuel consumption = infinite mpg
slowing down makes the biggest difference. In 100% city driving there are too many variables for YOU to affect mileage in any certain way. 1 more red light / stop sign and all your efforts are gone!

RPM's bellow 2000 when accelerating and keep it a 100km/h on the highway. That's the best combination for my 5.0.....granted keeping it at 100km/h on the highway is easier said then done

Old school was keep those big ol size 12s out of the carb.
New school keep those big ol size 12s out of the turbos and the EB will reward you with MPGs that exceed EPA standards.

If I had a second car, I wouldn't drive my truck unless I really needed it.

Lets see...
1. You have no tune - This certainly helps
2. Keep your foot off the pedal
3. It's a truck! That large window sticker should have given you an idea of what MPG to expect.
4. You are in Houston - With that traffic, there's not much you can do but to drive like a grandma.
