How can I squeeze the MPG's out of my ecoboost?

Best way to increase mpg is with your right foot. Accelerate gently and keep speed down. Coast to lights etc. In mixed diving I am high teens and hwy 20-24 mpg depending on speed wind and terrain. As said above. Keep speed low to mid sixties in hwy for best fuel economy.

I have all my mods and nothing has changed fuel economy wise from when I was stock. I take regular 350 mike trip to the same place every month so I get to see and try different things and going with the concensus I would have to say do your hwy speed down to 65 or so that's all that increases mine.

No need to slow down.

In road testing of a 2011 Ecoboost with an aerodynamic truck cap and bed extender on it, over 28 mpg was recorded at 70 mph. The best of the road tests came in at 28.73 mpg for a 200 mile run. This beats the upcoming mandated 2015 CAFE standard of 28.6 mpg for full size pickups.

Our customers claim 1.5 to 2 mpg increase on average with just a tune. The Airaid cold air intake and our Livernois down pipes have been reported to gain another 1.5 to 2 mpg with the tune. I have a local customer that stopped by last week to show us his average mpg had increased 3.8 to 4.2mpg over stock after adding the intake and downpipes last week while still running the latest 93 v10 performance tune.

Will Livernois ever make an "economy" tune for those long trips where you just sit back and drive?

I read all 50 pages of the ecomodder thread
do you think you'd see similar improvements on a 5'5 bed (being "steeper" from tailgate to top of cab)?
not sure i can afford a truck cap either way, but the 15-20% improvement sure looks tempting !!

Use the real-time mpg display to modify your driving habits.
If the green is below the white line, your mpgs are going down. If the green is above, your mpgs are going up.
There are two variables you are dealing with, throttle position (which you control) and boost level (which you don't). It takes a very, very slight pressure on the pedal to drop below your average mpg line.
