I don't know any 28mpg Ecoboost advertisements. Guy must have been looking at some 1 liter version.

When did Ford ever say the Ecoboost got 28 MPG? I don't even get that in my car!

And the last car/truck/SUV I'd ever buy would be a Chrysler. Look at their long term reliability from just about everyone that tracks such things. They are at or near the bottom. Ford at least is around the middle.

Just looked it up and you are right. That Ford dealer is in Canada. I figured that since the OP is in Texas it was at least a US truck.

So the guy is getting 13 US mpg. That is pretty horrible. I'm assuming he's getting 13 us mpg on the highway since he's using the highway mpg number for comparison.

My truck reads 12.9 AVG MPG right now - I'm right there with him.

13.1 lifetime here with almost 8k miles with the truck in my Sig. less than happy to say the least.

the past 2 days I have been driving a new dodge 2500 crew with 3.73's with the 6.4l gas engine. same driving back and forth to work. guess what. I am averaging 14.9. payload is double and the power is amazing. when I test drove it before I took it for a couple days I set the instant on the hwy and was getting over 17 with it at 70 mph. I cant get 14 with my EB. as much as I hate dodge and would have to come up with a few grand to trade I am seriously thinking about it.

I LOVE my truck I just hate- and I mean hate- the mps. I don't care what anyone says about it being a truck it should not get the mpgs I am getting. dealer is no help- and honestly I don't think they really can do anything.
