That thread originated many years ago when mustangs had mid mounted mufflers. There are some in there with talk about dumps, I think.

Too late anyway, foumd OEM muffler for free and had it swapped. Back to stock quietness at cruise. Still gives a decent tone when getting into the throttle. Shouldnt have messed with it to begin with as i'll be using this truck for long trips anyway.

If you change your mind look into solo, at cruising speeds it is very close to stock

X2 - I subbed the Mach muffler for the mr400 and there are zero times I get tired of hearing my truck. And I have made ten hour trips towing my 9000# travel trailer. No drone. Period.
