I don't mean to speak for FR or Geoff, but my theories are. . .

If it really is a condensation issue, then a more efficient intercooler and turbos will actually make it worse. I'm not completely convinced that it's a condensation issue, though, because many vehicles ran many years with similar IC's and never had a problem. Furthermore, many folks living in humid environments almost never have the problem, while others have it often and consistently.

Yes, but not for the reasons you might imagine. The larger turbocharger(s) will induce less exhaust pressure (drive pressure) at cruise speeds, thereby reducing pumping losses and improving mileage. Though the wheels may have higher efficiency, it's really the sizing that makes a difference.

I like this idea. I'd like to get this IC and run this winch plate....

This is exactly why I would be interested in a new inter-cooler. Been trying to figure out how to relocate the stock unit up high so I can fit that hidden winch mount.

funny you guys should bring this up. One of the targets for this project was to be able to mount a front winch on the ecoboost... that exact rough country winch and mount shows up friday!

ill get some photos of this truck posted up in the next 1-2 days everyone here is going nuts, probably our favorite project to ever come out of this shop... the fedex and UPS guys were drooling hardcore today. they didnt care about the R34 GTR or 997tt haha

Can't wait to see what amazing parts you guys are working on Geoff ... Plus I sent you a PM regarding possible help/representation over here (Not sure if it went through if not let me know). Full-Race working on the Ecoboost platform is an extremely good thing !

Best thread I've read since I got my Eco last year! I was just in Phoenix the beginning of this month; wish I would have stopped in! I was thinking of trading my Eco for a diesel but this has changed my mind for sure, awesome work, sign me up!

And my first post.. Usually I just read.
