Well the tow trailers you rent from U-haul or Penske would not be big enuff to handle a one ton truck. You would definitely have to bring your own. You might want to look into a "trasport company" that moves vehicles. After fuel both ways...time...ect. ... it might be cheaper.

Go for it if you can get it on a trailer. Or can you just use a dolley and put the Dodge in Neutral?

I have about 850 miles on my truck towing between 5000 and 7000 lbs. Tows that weight with ease. Makes any other gas truck look silly.

It may possibly be cheaper to have it transported but if you do decide to tow it yourself take plenty of pictures
