New strategy code, need some input from the tuners on the forum
Today I went to flash back to stock with my SCT tuner before I took the truck to the dealer for an oil change and diagnosis for the stumble/condensation in the intercooler problem. The flash back to stock failed, but the truck still started.
After returning from the dealer, I plugged the SCT back in and under device info, strat code it read: KGCP4CH* Thinking I hadn't seen this before, I contacted Mike at 5*tuning where I purchased the tuner. When he replied, he wanted to make sure I had written it down correctly as that is not a code he is familiar with. So I went back to the truck and plugged the tuner in again to read the code. I'm not sure if it was the second time or if it happened after I got back from the dealer, but now my truck will not start. Everything lights up until you hit the starter position and then all accessory power cuts out and the dash is the only thing lit. So I'm guessing that my PCM got borked somehow.
Has anyone else seen this strategy code? KGCP4CH*? I'm waiting on Ford roadside to come tow the truck to the dealer and have it flashed I guess. I was never notified that the software had been changed by the dealer...
