Default Those who have/had the shudder or condensation issue

Have any of you tried a programmer? Did it make the issue better, worse or no change?

I have the condensation issue, I don’t plan on installing a tune - or mods, so i know warranty will not be questioned or affected...

I have read that some said the shudder got better with a tune and others who said it was still there. I'm at a loss on this one. I had the shudder pretty bad back in the early part of winter but it haven't noticed it since I had the TSB done back in January or February. This TSB was just a computer flash so I think the shudder may be related to programming. I'm going to get a 5 star tune and I'll post back if my shudder returns.

On my stock 2011 Ecoboost, I had the shudder all the time with stock tuning.

With Superchips I had no shudder at all with any of the tunes, which was awesome.

With the SCT preloaded tunes, I did have a slight shudder on the 87 tune (the only tune I tried).

With the 5star 87 perf/tow tune I have no shudder.

I hope that helps.

I've never experienced the condensation issue.

I realize it's a hardware issue but I was wondering if the increased boost of the tune would keep the IC "cleaned out" by not letting too much condensation build up.

That's good info. If you can find the differences in the tunes you tried vs stock, you would see what factors are contributing to the shudder. Either way, glad your shudder is gone.
