I couldn't hide it behind the stock grille. It had to be shown! I love it.. hah

Usually I don't care for the billet grills because they are too see through. But "see through" looks pretty good when it allows you to see a big intercooler.

Dont realize how much air the little twins make until one of the hotside pipes come out of the coupler. They make a really loud WHOOSSHHHH and freak out nearby cars and pedestrians. Its all good now that ive gone over everything. Still seams to be a whistle, and no not the good whistle we want, but the first time i got on it i thought someone was shooting off a streamer. Wonder if it isnt a meth bung plug leaking, or i need to go back over all the damn clamps again. Dont help i didnt have any deep well sockets...

I had the same air leak with my initial install. I borrowed a set of ramps to have easier access underneath the front end, undid everything and then retightened the couplers, using hair spray on the interior of the hoses, and deep sockets. Everything is now air-tight. You'll get it this time!

An old turbo trick is to spray some hairspray on the couplers when assembling...helps seal the connections (makes em' a pain to remove though).

It was the meth bung plugs. The cheap crap they sent stripped out so i had to pullthd cold side to chase the threads and then bought better brass ones to put back in. Kinda a bummer that after spending over a grand they sent the most cheapass aluminum npt plugs that just galled. Still have one clamp that im not happy with put it seemed alright when i took it out and romped on it a few times.

I'd like to see a provision for the stock 13 blow off valve, or better yet, an aftermarket unit that I could plug my stock ford electronics into, I'd rather not splice/cut my vacuum lines.. that would be my deciding factor on buying it. I'm positive a lot of 13 owners feel the same way.

I like to use dish-soap-water in a squirt bottle. the hairspray does work well also, but like you said its more of a pain to remove them later

FedEx could have dragged the box behind their truck from pheonix to ohio and the parts would have been fine
the gorillas at Fedex and UPS have damaged our kits in unthinkable ways.. the damage they can do to an intercooler or manifold boggles my mind. Weve seen piping crushed flat, manifolds twisted, intercoolers with holes thru them... we ship out a lot of high end systems and kits and take every precaution possible so that Fedex will not deny any damaged shipment claims

Regarding the additional meth bungs - the 1/8" plugs we include are Earl's alumninum fittings. These are high quality aluminum CNC machined, and I have had good results for many years when using thread sealant with a good allen wrench - they should not strip. Either way i do appreciate your input and it is a valid point, happy to switch to Steel fittings for our Truck kits. If you'd like a replacement set of steel plugs sent out just PM me your address
