You can boil the boots in water for 10-15mins and it'll make them a hair more pliable and easier to slip on.

That is a good idea!!!! it takes about 30 min to get the hot side boots on the y pipe and turbo outlet pipes it's just a pain cause there is no space to work. Hard? No not really just takes a while to get it in position. Best advise I can give is mount the y to the hot side parts then drop the cooler into place it makes a big difference

Finally got it! Just needed some elbow grease and a beer.

The hot pipe did not line up perfectly with the IC, but the coupling was on there enough so that the clamp could tighten. I guess that's why everything hooks up with the rubber couplings, so they can flex if they have to.

I'm going on a road trip next weekend, so it should be a good break in drive.

My experience with modding is similar to Eco-Beast's. I've put on cat-backs and CAIs before, but nothing worth-while. A lit of the reason was because nothing was made for the car. I knew buying a Ford Truck there would be lots of fun things to do, so now I can add downpipes and an intercooler to my experience level!

Hairspray works surprisingly well for that.

Old bicycle trick. Spray some hairspray on the handle bars to get the grips on better, then they hold real good!

jetlag,

Why don't you just call Full-Race and ask them when yours will ship?

I ordered 01/14. Mine shipped the middle of last week and is scheduled to arrive this Wednesday.

It might just be that for the first run they only made 25 I/C kits and you were order #26...Call FR.

Olli
